Terre del Timorasso emerges from the glass with ripe apricots, honey and spices, all of which come together in a rich, harmonious style.  This textured, mid-weight white has the body and length to pair with fairly bold dishes.

Recommended pairings: Fish antipasti, risotto, white meat.

Production area: Costa Vescovato, Piemonte, Italy

Vineyard: Vigna di Carlo, 1.5 hectares (3.7 acres), planted 1995, 420 root stock, A- clone

Vineyard exposition and altitude: South-southwest, 280 meters (920 feet)

Vineyard soil type: Tortonian marl

Vine training method: Guyot, 5-6 buds

Time and method of harvest: September 28, manual

Yield: 6000 Kg/Ha (2.7 tons/acre)


Winemaking Notes:

Vinification: Stainless steel

Aging: 12 months in stainless steel on the lees

Percentage alcohol: 14.2%

Annual production: 5,000 bottles
