Tasting Notes:

Floral, spicy, fruity blueberry aromas. Fleshy and easy to drink. The sweet fruit is nicely balanced by firm tannins.

Recommended pairings: Antipasti (especially salumi), risotto, ravioli.

Vineyard: Vigna del Ser, 1.2 hectares (3.0 acres), planted 1997, Kober 5BB root stock, R2 clone

Vineyard exposition and altitude: South-southwest, 290 meters (950 feet)

Vineyard soil type: Tortonian marl

Vine training method: Guyot, 5-6 buds

Yield: 7000 Kg/Ha (3.1 tons/acre)

 Vinification: Stainless steel

Aging: Eight months in stainless steel, followed by six months in bottle
