Accadia

Accadia is a small family-run grower located in the heart of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi zone on the left bank of the river Esino between the small villages of Sasso and Castellaro di Serra di Quirico. In 1983, Angelo Accadia, an accomplished painter, sculptor and winemaker, left Milan to establish his workshop in Castelli di Jesi. He purchased nine hectares of vineyards in the rolling hills at 320 to 370 meters above sea level and with the help of his wife, Maria, created his own estate. In 1991 he planted native vines across the property, which he continues to farm in accordance practices of organic viticulture. Angelo Accadia is especially respected for his mastery of Verdicchio, crafting wines that balance precision with personality. Alongside classic expressions such as Accadia, Conscio, and Cantorì, under the tuteage of Angelo and daughter Evelyn, the winery also produces small-batch natural and skin-contact wines that highlight native Marche varieties and traditional techniques.
