Villa Le Prata , Rosso di Montalcino “Tirso”

Rosso di Montalcino is made with the same grape varietal used to make Brunello. After the best quality grapes are selected to make Brunello, the remaining grapes go  into making Rosso di Montalcino. Rosso di Montalcino is meant to be drunk younger.

Tasting Notes: Ruby red color. Good fragrance, hints of ripe fruit well blended with the nuances of oak. Good structure and tannins.

Food Pairings: Ideal with red meats, roasts, game and aged cheeses.
