San Brizio takes its name from the vineyard that lies behind the villa, the historic headquarters of the company.

Vineyard: 260 ft above sea level with a south-easterly exposure. Density: 1,700 vines per acre. Average vines age: 20-years old.
Planting System: Guyot and Spurred Cordon.
Soil:. Medium-texture of volcanic origin.
Harvest: Hand picked mid September.
Yield: About 445 gallons per acre
Alcohol: 12.5%
Vinification: Fermentation and maturation on the lees for 7-8 months in 500 liter new and used oak barrels.
Aging: 10 months in the bottle..

Tasting Notes: Deep yellow with golden highlights. Rich bouquet with rich notes of wild flowers and ripe apple. Hints of honey and vanilla. Fresh and persistent.

Food Pairings: Fish and vegetable-based pasta, rice dishes, bean soups, fish, seafood, soft cheeses. Fried eggs with truffles.
