Drusian Francesco, Cartizze
Sparkling white wine made from the Prosecco grape variety produced in the tiny zone of Cartizze, which is an area of only approximately 110 hectares. The morphological characteristics of this hilly area, its unique microclimate and sun exposure to combine to produce a sparkling wine of rare and elegant structure.
This area is noted for having a having a special type of well drained soil. The Prosecco grapes in Cartizze are picked a few days later than the regular Prosecco, they are slightly more ripe thus giving Cartizze Prosecco a sweeter hedge.

Vinification: Soft pressing, white wine making method and a 70% yield, fermented for 15-20 days in stainless steel tank and poured into the Charmat tank with the addition of yeasts and sugar to complete the sparkling process.
Aging: Bottled and released after complete fermentation. Drink in the first year after release.
Tasting Notes: Pale straw yellow with golden hues. Green apple and floral notes combine with a cream texture on the palate.
Food Pairings: As an aperitif with antipasti, cold cuts, fish dishes. Being slightly sweeter it can be paired with some not overly sweet dessert
