Vineyard: The vineyard is located at 1.500 feet above sea level with a southern exposure. The average age of the plants is 40 years old.
Planting System: Guyot
Soil: Mix of marl and tuff.
Harvest: Mid- September
Yield: About 3 tons per acre
Alcohol: 5.5 %
Vinification: Half of the harvest is place in wooden boxes and left to dry for a period of 20-30 days. The remainder of the harvest is left to over ripe on the vines and are picked at the end of October. All of the grapes are then pressed and the must is placed in small oak barrels for 18-20 months. After the barrel-aging the wine is bottled with an additional bottle aging of 3-4 months.
Aging: 18-20 months in small oak barrels and 2-4 months in the bottle.
Total Production: 2.000 bottles (375 ml)
Tasting Notes: Golden color with a deep Moscato aroma. Notes of mature fruit and tropical fruit on the palate. Long and sweet finish.
