Production Area: Commune of Castorano (Ascoli Piceno),
Appellation: Marche Rosso IGT
Varietal Blend: Montepulciano 80%, 20% Cabernet.
Vineyard: Eastern exposure, at 750 feet a.s.l. with a plant density of 1400 vines per acre
Planting System: Spurred cordon.
Soil: Clayey.
Harvest: First 3 weeks of October.
Yield: About 3.2 tons per acre
Alcohol: 14%
Vinification: Fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature with a 15-20 day maceration. Frequent daily pump-overs. Racking into small oak barrels followed by malolactic fermentation.
Aging: In the bottle for 3 months
Total Production: 6.000 bottles

Tasting Notes: Dark ruby red, almost black. Delicate nose with scent of grass with mineral notes. Soft tannins on the palate with fresh and balanced acidity. The finish is elegant, pleasant with medium length.

Food Pairings: Grilled and stewed meats. Mature cheeses.
