VILLA FIORITA

Villa Fiorita has a distinguished past dating back to the early 19th century. At that time the Piedmontese nobility competed to acquire the best wine growing areas, often linking the family name with that of the wine produced.

Villa Fiorita belongs to the Rondolino Family and in 1995/2000 was completely restored. The Family, whose origins date back to the 15th century, owned vineyards for generations in famous wine growing areas such as Barolo, Ghemme, Gattinara.

Villa Fiorita is located on the sunny slopes that dominate the Tanaro Valley, a few kilometres from the towns of Asti. The thirty acres of Villa Fiorita vineyards, produce Barbera, Grignolino, Pinot Nero and Chardonnay. Alongside the old cellars of Villa Fiorita, where a number of wines are being aged in barriques of Troncais and Nevers oak, are the new cellars where the most modern wine making equipment is used.

The winemaking process at Villa Fiorita is regarded as a continuum that begins in the vineyard because exceptional wine can only be made with exceptional grapes.
