Their sun-drenched vineyards enjoy a southwestern exposure. Some vineyards are on the prestigious Montosoli hill that reaches up to the hill from which rises the town of Montalcino. The vineyards benefit from a particularly moderate climate as they are protected from the cold northern and western winds. This combination of natural factors: location, soil, and climate give a peculiar richness to the Brunello produced at this estate.
